I’ve always been fascinated by the way that change unfolds.  As a young person I watched the world around me, curious about how culture, identity, and relationships both impacted and were impacted by a person’s sense of themselves.  Over my 20 years as a licensed therapist I’ve had the privilege of studying these processes and using the therapeutic relationship to create a holding space to explore pain, trauma, meaning and wonder.

I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including mental health clinics, high schools and  community based organizations. That work has informed my approach and has stayed with me in my private practice.

The majority of my work has been in the LGBTQAI+ community. I have extensive experience in working with trans folks and their partners, as well as people in kink and poly/ENM communities. I use an anti-racist, anti-oppressive framework which seeks to understand how identity, marginalization, and privilege inform the struggles and strengths that we have.

My style is warm and attuned. I draw on training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR, AEDP, and IFS in my work.
